Oklahoma stands firmly by the Second Amendment, the right to keep and bear arms, however, not complying with the Self Defense Act or carrying a weapon in a restricted place can both result in a crime. However, most gun related crimes are charged as a result of illegally possessing a weapon or using a gun in a crime. The latter may result in a felony and most gun crimes come with jail time.
